With Aerosmith filming their first video in a long time last week, we whipped up a new rig for Mr. Whitford. It’s a Plexi panelled GM II in our UK styled headbox with a similarly styled proto 4×12 in red levant. Look for it soon.

Recently Canadian rocker Ricky Laurent rocked the Monster Spectacular at Olympic Stadium – Montreal with his new 3 Monkeys Orangutan combo. He also did a short behind the scenes video describing his love of the Orangutan combo.

The latest issue of iGuitar (a great UK based guitar magazine) has a 4 page review and 9 minute video of the GMII. Thanks to iGuitar and reviewer Jamie Humphries for an informative review.

Seems billionaire Sir Richard Branson and his Virgin empire have nothing better to do than pick on the 3 Monkeys. In an email to our IP attorney, reps for Virgin say our own Virgil™ mark is too close to their Virgin stylized mark.

Premier Guitar Magazine has a review of Virgil in it’s latest issue. Nice write-up, although there is one error, we did not name the amp after former WWF wrestler Ted “The Million Dollar Man” DiBiase’s bow-tied bodyguard, “Virgil” (I don’t even know who that is). Instead “Virgil” is named after the monkey in the 1987 film ‘Project X’ (I know, very obscure).
